CHARACTERName: Strelka Macaulay Harbinger
Title: The Shooting Star
Age: 19
Species and Gender: Human - Female
Symbol: Occupation: Beacon 3rd Year

Combat: Her combat attire consists of a black tank top that opens down the back with white straps and lining in the shape of stars and a cut-out area on the left of her abdomen. Along with that, there are heavily armored areas on her legs and arms. The greaves, worn over thigh high white stockings, have dust jets running down the thighs, allowing her to perform rocket-enhanced maneuvers with limited hovering abilities along with the feet resembling pumps. There a multitude of white straps running around the armor.
Formal
: In formal occasions, Strelka wears a black dress with white lace. She also paints her fingernails blue, wears a black wristband with a white star on it, and black stockings.
History: Strelka's father is a huntsman (Who is known for going on missions almost completely naked, no matter the climate) and her mother is an atlesian specialist working in Vale. At an early age, her mother had kicked her father out of the house because he was lazy and she was... Well... Atlesian. Strelka's mother was very bent on her becoming an above-average huntress, raising her as more of a weapon instead of a child. Thus, her mother trained her at an early age in different forms of combat involving her signature weapon, a pistol. When her mother was busy though, Strelka would go off and live with her uncle, who secretly let her live with her dad without her mother's knowledge. Her mother eventually found out though, and was about to take her and move to Atlas, but, as Strelka didn't want to, she decided to train at Signal where her father taught, whether her mother liked it or not.
At Signal, Strelka could have continued training with a pistol because she was really damn good at it, potentially skipping grades, but instead, she decided to learn the way of the sword from her father and act like an average student. Eventually, she started picking up a pistol and honing her skills with it again in secret, until her father found out and after a small talk about letting her talents shine, she decided to learn dual-wield both. The very next day she discovered her semblance. As more time passed and she upgraded her weapons to her semblance, she earned her nickname, "The Shooting Star" from other students due to her impressive pistol skills along with her tendencies to become fast and destructive. One day, in a sparring match, she didn't notice a familiar figure watching. As the other student's aura level dropped under 20% and the buzzer sounded, she heard the other students' applause and a single slow clap that stood out and turned towards it, ending up face to face with her mother, who said she had been taught well. Her father appeared beside Strelka, asking her mother what she wanted, who replied that she was here to take Strelka back to Atlas again to receive "even better training" than at Signal. As her father declined, this grew into a dual right in front of the students, who started cheering and placing bets while Strelka's face only grew redder and redder as her parents began tearing the building apart. Eventually, Strelka's mother admitted defeat, and after a few days, her parents got together again. Strelka also learned that it was a duel that got her parents together in the first place. The rest of her time at Signal was short and happy.
She eventually agreed with her mother to spend the first two years of huntress training at Atlas academy to gain a second perspective on combat styles from a different kingdom. There, she honed her abilities to be more graceful, yet possessing the same feeling of savageness that her father taught her. However, she didn't make any friends due to social awkwardness and not quite fitting in before returning to Beacon for her 3rd and 4th years. Her father got her a warming
Tarepanda plush as a welcome back gift.
Personality: For a powerhouse like her, Strelka is surprisingly shy and submissive outside of battle. She can easily be calmed down with a simple hug, and often apologizes a lot. She likes things that are warm, fuzzy, or cute. Bonus points if they're all three like her Tarepanda. Also, no one puts Tarepanda in "danger" or they will answer to her sword. She secretly likes laid-back older men because they are more mature and because of the time she spent with her father. She is scared of being alone in the dark only when not in combat. In battle though, Strelka shifts to being confident and more talkative, even naming and calling out certain attacks.
Aura and Semblance:Color: Blue
Semblance: Against Fearful Odds - Strelka's semblance allows her to surround herself with blue fire in a 3 foot diameter that she or any other aura user is immune to, only feeling the starting temperature. Although initially only being able to slightly warm up her surroundings (28 Celsius), any Grimm that touches it causes the fire to burn even hotter (+20 Celsius), its limit being 1000 Celsius. If a Grimm that has touched the fire has died, it loses temperature. Her semblance usually requires a small 'starter fire', found over her left eye, along with a few seconds to channel before ignition, costing 7% aura. It also drains 1% aura every minute.
Combat Behavior: In combat, Strelka would qualify as a lightning bruiser, wielding her large sword and pistol for high damage output. However, she is not armored at the torso, and there are chinks in her gauntlets' and greaves' armor for dust jets. This puts her at a weakness against stealthy ranged opponents. She may also be quite not fast without using her jets.
Contradictory to her meek personality and attendance at Atlas, Strelka's fighting style in itself is extremely brutal and sloppy-looking. While being willing and able to follow through with a sound strategy, if not immediately presented with one, Strelka goes on a rampage and favors more up-front and direct approaches to things. Against Grimm, she may even occasionally ditch her weapons after a while and start ripping her way through them with her gauntlets and in bigger monsters, even ripping large enough holes to enter its body and start destroying everything from inside. This is a similar case in buildings too. For example, if she is performing a non-clandestine assault on a criminal compound, she rips apart anything that even looks mildly important or costs money unless told not to do so. These include pipes, machinery, walls, furniture, crates, vehicles, and etc. She just constantly breaks things. Her father, who taught her to fight gave her a saying,
"Don't bother looking for chinks in the armor. Turn your entire opponent into one."WEAPON- Handles are black
