CHARACTER

Name: Kushii Utsu

Age: 17

Species and Gender: Human Male

Symbol:  A monochrome ornate mirror with two sparkling eyes looking out of it.

Occupation: 1st year beacon student.

Appearance: Kushii is 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has long, flowing white hair (a family trait) that reaches his waist, no bangs. He loathes putting it in a ponytail and only does so when absolutely necessary. His eyes are silver and his skin is light, but not unhealthy. When not wearing Beacon attire, he wears a black tuxedo that heavily contrasts with the colors of his face, eyes, and hair and yet looks strikingly appealing. The tux always looks in perfect condition unless he has been fighting recently. Underneath the jacket he wears a white vest. He carries a suitcase that holds all of his weapons, with Beast in lint roller form. He keeps a small mirror in his pocket and a comb in the other one, for emergencies.

History: Kushii was born into an extremely wealthy, extremely good looking family from Atlas that prospered due to being a large weapons manufacturer known as Utsu Armaments. As such, when he was growing up, he had almost nothing to want. His money allowed him whatever he wanted and his looks allowed him whoever he wanted. He was happy until about the age of ten, when his parents died due to an unknown illness. As he was an only child, Kushii was given everything his parents had. Now the owner of a vast amount of money and resources, Kushii tried several things to attempt to forget the grief of his parents death, such as piano, art, and gardening. He failed at many of them and, feeling helpless, he stumbled into a room of his mansion that his parents told him to never go in. Inside he found a single training dummy, with many weapons on the walls, hence the reason he was told to never enter.. Allowing his rage and sorrow to bubble to the surface, he laid into the dummy with his bare hands, nearly breaking them from the sheer number of times he hit it. As he fought, he realized that he was feeling better, even as his hands were hurting. By the time he was done he was no longer sad, but happy. It was then he decided he wanted to fight for a living. Giving control of his finances to a loyal steward while he was gone, Kushii  went to Vale and began training. He passed his classes at Signal and went on to Beacon. Many people recognized him during his training at Signal, which was not a surprise since his family was well known (and well hated by some, especially White Fang sympathizers because they provided weapons for the human side of the war) and he expects his reputation to precede him into Beacon.

Personality: One word describes everything about Kushii...Narcissist. He is completely convinced that he is the most beautiful man on the planet and nobody can make him think otherwise. He views most others with a sort of pity that they are not like him in either money or looks. Those few that can match his affluence or come close to his beauty earn his respect. This arrogance bleeds over onto the battlefield as well, as he believes he cannot lose, and if he does then he denies it with all his being, insisting the other person must have cheated. He also believes that Faunus' are no different than humans, except to think that their animal traits can help their looks. Not that they will ever match him, though. Finally, one of the few things that causes him to truly get angry is mention of his dead parents in a derogatory way.

Aura and Semblance: Kushii's aura is an almost transparent white and, when he is showing off, it adds an otherworldly sheen to his looks, like he is glowing. His semblance allows him to create clones of himself, at the expense of 5% aura each. When summoning a clone he shimmers and one seemingly walks out of him. The clones cannot speak, are intangible and are slightly transparent, but other than that, they look exactly like him. He issues orders to his clones through his mind and they follow the order as well as they can. Once they reach 50 feet away they dissipate. They also dissipate if they are "hit" by an attack. He can summon a max of 3.

Combat Behavior: Being extremely arrogant, he saunters into any fight with a smirk on his face. Once he begins fighting, he uses Beauty to impair his opponent in some way and rushes in to deliver attacks with Beast. If he feels the opponent is gaining the upper hand he quickly backs off and freezes the ground in front of them. He is fast and Beast gives him some range but he is not very strong or sturdy, so it doesn't take much to take him out.

WEAPON

Name: Beauty

Primary Form: Hair dryer with dust cartridges hidden inside. While it can be used as an ordinary hair dryer, when special buttons on the sides of the handles are pressed, it can shoot ice, fire, and water (combination of ice and fire) dust from canisters inside. It is white and black, splitting vertically in the middle, giving off the same metallic sheen as Beast.

Dust Functions:

Ice: Freezes whatever it hits. Used to cause slippery terrain.

Fire: Catches fire wherever it hits. Used to create smoke while damaging the opponent.

Water: Kushii's favorite, the fire and ice dust mix in the air and create a burst of water. It is laced with a toxin that, when inhaled, causes blurry vision and the colors of the world appear swirled for a short period of time. The effects last from 10 to 30 seconds, depending on the size of the opponent. If it was made to last any longer, it could seriously damage whoever breaths it. Half of that time is a build up, so they will know something is wrong by the time it reaches its peak and almost immediately begins going away. The victim can still see, but is generally disturbed. The toxin has a beautiful lavender smell. Due to the double dust and the chemical, more must be used from the canister to create the same effect. He can only use it twice before needing to refill, which takes a decent amount of time.

History: Kushii had this made in his family's factories during his second year at signal as it seemed a good way to both enhance his fighting and keep his hair in order.

WEAPON

Name: Beast

Primary Form: A 6 foot staff. It is black at the top and white at the bottom, with the color split being where the staff splits. It gives a metallic shine, reflecting light in an attractive way.

Secondary Form: Detaches in the middle and creates two separate staves that he can fight with or use as walking sticks.

Tertiary Form: Both separate staves shrink to form lint rollers, with the top folding out to reveal the sticky paper. A button on the handle prompts them to expand again.

History: Kushii had this made along with Beauty to help him fight and keep his tux lint/dust free.

NPCS

Maximillion: Kushii has two guards that follow him when he leaves Beacon grounds, but not while he is on missions. The first is Maximillion, who has gray hair, wears glasses, and has a decent size mustache on his upper lip. His voice sounds like someone rubbing two pieces of sandpaper together and therefore rarely speaks. He wears a suit.

Brad Li: Brad is the opposite of his coworker, he is short (4 feet tall) with black hair and a very young face. His voice is that of a young child. While this makes him appear innocent, he is actually very cold and calculating, willing to do whatever it takes to protect Kushii.
