Reginald would not know if any of his shots landed, but he knew well enough that they alone could not stop their opponents - he wasn't aware of what Shiroe was doing, but he doubted he'd be able to do much either.

He didn't know his opponents that well, though he had encountered Calen before - during their free-for-all between him, Reginald, Akel and Catalina. Reginald had thoroughly lost, though he would not admit it - he had been at a disadvantage, after all. Even so, he struggled to remember much about the guy's fighting style. He was a swordsman, and a good one - in an open melee, Reginald would be at a disadvantage. Shiroe, however... He might be able to face him well enough.

Any consideration on Reginald's part is cut short as he yelps, struck in the legs as something - someone - leapt at him from the fog. Reginald could barely hold his balance on the icy surface, nearly doing the splits in an attempt to not fall flat on his back again. This was bad - preoccupied with how bad the terrain and weather was for him, he hadn't considered how advantageous it could be for his opponents.

Reginald briefly clutched his cape. "A hit-and-run from the fog against a ranged fighter? And here I thought I might be facing an opponent with some honor!" he shouted before opening fire as he heard his opponent whistle - three more shots, aimed about a foot ahead of each whistle. It was hard to properly gauge the distance and the direction the sound was coming from, but, well, it was all Reggie had - at least until his opponent would charge him again.

...pig? Well, that was certainly a new one to Reggie. He had been called scum, a douche, a dick, a twat, a cum stain, a prick, a fucker, an insufferable asshole, fuckface, dickhead, kumquat, cuntrack, bitch, bitch boy, little bitch, massive bitch, baby bitch - the list goes on, really - but 'pig' made him reel back, especially from a girl he had only just met. To be compared to a farm animal, one who spent its days in the mud - that combined with the girl not knowing who he was to begin with struck a nerve.

"Wh- Why, you insolent..." Reggie forced through gritted teeth just as Shiroe would enter the room. He briefly peered at his old teammate, before scoffing and heading towards his bed again. "Peh. No surprise that your type would come in pairs" he said with a glare towards Akel.

The boy's cape fluttered as he spun to take a seat on the side of his bed, arms crossed on his chest and one leg dangling over the other. His gaze turned to Lilla. apparently not content with the conversation being over like that just yet. "If you must ask who I am, the name is Reginald Royale, son of Beige and Marvin Royale. I'm certain you've heard of them."

His new teammates were... No, rather, one of his new teammates was... By Jove, there would have to been some sort of mix-up! At least, those were the snobbish smegpot's first thoughts - but even he realized the unlikelihood of such a mistake.

The initial shock fading as the two girls spoke up, Reginald shook his head, huffing as he entered the room properly with his arms crossed. "Bah. Typical - it would have been too much to expect this school's administration to provide one with decent teammates. And I will remind you that I was never the aggressor in our previous encounters, Bat. Cooperation is up to you," he spat out as he headed for his own bed, stopping as he passed by Lilla.

"Hrm, that aside, my name is Reginald Royale - I am sure you've heard of my family's name before. I suggest you do not trust this one for a second," the boy said, still glaring daggers at Akel.

It's quite some while before Janna lumbers into the dining hall - she had to take off all of her armor, after all, leaving her in a grey cropped tank top, matching short-shorts and open-toe sandals. She enjoyed letting her skin breathe after being in her usual metal and leather suit.

The lady tank grabbed herself a tall glass of orange juice, a full plate of bacon and eggs, toast, a slice of pie and a side of a hefty salad. Janna burned through a lot of calories on a daily basis - she had to if she were to handle all of her heavy equipment.

The woman finally wandered over to where she could spot Diana, taking seat opposite of her. "Yo, Diana. Good work out there today," she said, inhaling the wondrous smell of F O O D before turning to her teammate again. "Sorry about not taking that Nyx chick out sooner, Dee. Is your ankle alright?"

"You're pretty good!" Razzy shouted out to his opponent as he dodged another one of his shots. "I don't think any of my other opponents could avoid taking damage for that long!"

Razzy's words were accompanied by an activation of his semblance. The boy sent a wave of lights and colors towards Reyva, though not directly in his face like he had done against Zabar last year. Instead, the lights began to dance around Reyva's head - flickering near the corners of his sight, spinning lines of bright colors surrounding his forehead and the top of his nose. They weren't there to make him sick - they were there to distract him.

Razzy could only hope that it would work.

"Hrm. This terrain won't be doing me any favors. I can barely bloody see anything..." Reginald muttered, absentmindedly accepting Shiroe's assistance, though not standing up fully, instead remaining crouched.  Reginald took Solace in both hands and raised it, aiming towards the bridge as well.

He couldn't spot his opponents yet, but this gave him a pretty decent chance to prepare. For them to use the bridge would be risky and leave them all too open - chances are, their opponents would try and jump the gap somehow if they could. Reginald had to be ready to fire, even if he saw them do just that-

Cough, cough.

And, despite the lack sight, that cough had given him a vague target. When Shiroe shouted for him to attack, the regal turd did just that, sending 4 shots in the direction of the cough. Granted, there was no telling if they'd hit their marks, but with any luck they could force their opponent to advance to where they'd be easier to hit.

(4 shots at 5%, but inaccurate due to lack of sight)

Unbelievable. Halfway through the year, and they had to transfer teams already. All the progress Reginald had made in working with them was now gone. Granted, most would say that there hadn't been much progress at all. The royal shitstain hadn't quite made  any friends here - Shiroe was the closest thing he had in that regard. Reginald mulled over all of this and more as he walked down the hallway towards the team's dorm room - what were they again? Team rabble? Something like that.

But two new team members could put a wrench in things even more, especially with how closely Silica had been following his actions and relationships with the other students. He could only hope that they would meet his standards, and not be scum. You know, scum like him.

Hell, he hoped they would be better than his old team anyway. It was no secret that Reginald despised team MARS's old leader - a commoner! Shiroe was much more befitting of such a role. And with any luck, the others would-

Reginald had made it to the dorm by now and opened the door. He stood in the doorway for a moment in stunned silence.

He hadn't really checked who his new teammates actually were.

Whiff. Good start on the whole 'pure brawn thing'. Plus, there appeared to have been one factor Rufus had forgotten to take into account - her weapon was also a fucking mace. Freezing it probably made it heavier, if anything, which Rufus soon got to experience as it slammed into him, sending him into the dirt.

He was not down for the count, though. The boy didn't rise right away, instead bringing his leg around to sweep Jima's - hopefully he could bring her down as well. Either way he proceeded to roll back, hoping to jump her with another set of punches if she did fall.

Well. That was a big ole scythe right there.

While the prospect of being hit with that thing wasn't all that pleasant, the fact that Reyva was about to go into melee was rather hopeful. While his opponent transformed his Razzy dug through his pocket and produced a second dust cartridge - another fire one and the only other cartridge he had on him. Wielding Rozhe with just one hand, the boy fired once more at Reyva, though the distance between them meant that it wouldn't do much damage. His other hand seemed ready to reload his weapon as it were to run out - but that might not be his intention entirely.

Anza gladly took the seat next to the other girl, still as cheerful as ever. "Yep! War Eagle 'ere's all I got! My daddy's a hunter - of animals, not grimm - and he taught me all about shooting. Been doing so since I was... Darn, must've been since I was 8 or 9 when I started learnin' proper. 's all I'm really good at."

"And how about you, lass? I mean, I'm guessin' that there's yer bow, but ain't look like one right now." Anza said, gesturing towards the dagger holstered on Kisha's belt.

Anza watched with an equally awkward expression as her partner for the mission proceeded to have an outburst of excitement - of course, the girl was giddy about the task ahead herself, but... Not to that level, right?

"Yea!" Anza finally responded, shaking Kisha's hand before taking her seat. "Same here, Kisha! I think this is gonna be a whole lotta fun - don't get ta' use my bow to its fullest extent much!" the girl said, patting War Eagle on her back.

Here's hoping all things go smoothly, yea?" she added, giving the other girl a thumbs up. Granted, she was expecting it to go well - not like the mission seemed all that risky.

It had worked! By god, the gamble had actually worked! With the gap in their aura levels dwindling rapidly, the young rapper had every chance to-

Being so focused on making semblance work while also coming up with clever rhymes to throw Jima's way, the boy was completely caught off guard by the sudden shriek in his ear. For a moment he was pretty certain that a Nevermore had made it into the arena and was about to bite his head off - naturally, he rolled to the side to avoid an attack, Encore falling apart into its components as he did. Wide-eyed, he glanced at where the sound had been coming from, seeing nothing. He then looked back towards Jima -whose weapon was now frozen up.

Despite the ringing now in his ears, Rufus grinned. It would appear the fight would have to end the good old fashioned way - through not much more than pure brawn. He snickered at that and rushed towards Jima again, going for an apparent lunge. However, as his fast was about to connect, he pulled back, sending his other fist up in an uppercut - a less obvious feint, but still not the most graceful one.

Anza hadn't gone on a mission in such a long time - and this one was hand-picked just for her at that! Well, not just for her, exactly. She was to team up with Kisha Miles - another archer! She had been giddy and excited all morning, hurrying through breakfast and finding herself with more free time than she was comfortable with.

With just a few minutes left until they were to meet up the girl ran out from the dorms, skipping three our four steps at a time as she ran towards the platforms at the courtyard, War Eagle and her quiver slung over the girl's back. She was ready to kick some grimm butt!

She hopped into the airship not long after Kisha had done so, a massive grin on her face. "Oh, hi! You must be Kisha! I'm Anza - it's nice to meet you!"

Reginald entered the arena with pomp and confidence, grinning as he did. Despite predictions and mockery from all sides, especially from Silica, they had made it to the semi-finals. It was their - his shot at proving himself. To everyone - his classmates, his team, those in the school he despised - but most importantly, to his father.

The purple snot bubble snickered to himself as he perceived himself as the 'gentleman' in Prim's introduction - he felt a bit sorry for how rudely she had introduced Shiroe, though. A little.

"You need not remind me, I know the deal. I have plenty at stake here. I intend to take this ser-"

The 'poor' fuckboy was unable to finish his thought as he slipped on the end of the ice bridge, falling flat on his ass. It was with horror he then realized exactly what the battlefield entailed for him as the winds picked up, sending snow in his unprotected face and almost completely blocking vision after but a few dozen meters.

Well, he was expecting a pummeling to come his way with how exposed he was. However, there was little the young rapper could do against a direct shotgun blast like that. The shot hits him but he's just slightly more prepared for the  oncming swing as he places Flow in between the attack and his poor, defenseless chin.

The attack still sends him back - again, it feels as though he may have let it do so on purpose as he uses the small break he gets to slap Soul into Flow in order to assemble Encore. A grin appears on his face as he places the mic up to his lips, activating his semblance once more.

"I may be shit outta luck, might be jolly-well fucked," he shouted as he dug through his pocket to produce a small, turquoise-tinted dust cartridge - he was hoping the shouts would keep Jima back long enough. He slapped it into the mic before shouting again, releasing "but i ain't gonna stay stuck, 'cause I hit like a truck, no dog - more like a buck, with my feet in the muck I ain't givin' up!"

As he would yell into the microphone the force of his semblance would then be accompanied by an ice-cold wind and a flurry of snow, sizzling as it fell across the lava behind the fighters. The effect wouldn't last long, but it would have to serve its purpose for Rufus to succeed - to deal some damage and to slow Jima down.

(Ice wind lasts as long as it remains uninterrupted. 3% damage per second in it, with metal objects, clothes and any loose things possibly freezing solid.)
