I used color=white in the hex code.

Hmm... for a meeting post we could have our characters meeting in the garden of the school looking at each other's weapons or something like that? Maybe someone is showing off? *cough cough* It's Attom.

Looks like CAST is the winner!

Is there anything else we need to sort out?

I vote for Camelia to be the leader since she has more experience in character and is nicer than Tieren.

I also put our characters initials in the team generator and here are some of my favorites I found:

BATS (Black), ACTS (Red curtain color), BAST (Blast explosion color so orangy?), CAST (White), CASA (Red but I think someone is already using this), CABG (cabbage green), STAB (Red), SASA (Salsa red).

Rewrote Attom's personality:

Personality:Attom has high hopes to become a good hunter and give back to the community that gave to him his start in hunting. His goal is for his home to become one of the next safe zone areas of Vale.

Attom may look very angular and standoffish, but he is really nice. He is very compassionate to others misery since he knows pain all too well. Because of his pain, he likes to take any chance he can get to celebrate, or party. In that way he is gregarious. As a little game he plays with friends, Attom tends to borrow things a lot and give them back at inopportune times or ways.

Being stuck at home you kind of pick up a few weird habits and fears as in: like not liking dirt at all, fear of death by uncontrolled electrical currents. He copes with this by being well neat and tidy, and explicitly showing others his boundaries like little to no hugs and chest contact. He tries to not to be scared when he has to fight others with electric weapons or ammo, but he tends to get very overprotective of his chest. He refuses to acknowledge any fears he has and writes them off as “Quirks”.

Billy jumped when the Serin clone appeared in front of her as she made her way to the exit, and listened to what the pair of them had to say. She found that it was strange that he sent out a clone to fetch her even though he didn’t get up from the table. Then again, she did leave in a hurry.

“It’s not really about that.” she wofully admitted. “It’s really about… wait.” She grabbed the Serin clone and pulled it just outside the exit of Georges Breakfast Paloza and away from prying ears and stares. “Can you keep a secret?” She asked almost pleadingly.

She took a deep breath and told him her secret any ways. “I think I have a major crush on Smokey and I don’t think he even likes me back, and this happens with all my crushes, or the relationship goes bad within the week and I don’t want to screw it up but I think I already did and I don’t know what to do...”

Billy followed behind and cautiously held the door open for Mikado trying not to touch the metal parts of the door. She tried not to act too grumpy, but she was. She was cold and was starting to hate it. Once inside the significantly warmer room, she looked around as she wrung her hands. Her eyes were drawn to a lever action rifle with so many dust compatibilities that it blew her mind! She stood and stared, slack jawed, long enough to be left behind by the group for a few moments. She was brought out of her trance when she heard arguing coming from the counter. She decided to rejoin the team there. She thought about bringing the sweet lever action with her to the front, but after seeing the security in the front, she decided not to risk it.

She rejoined the team as Smokey went into the backroom and then Mr. Emberstone introduced himself.

”Nice to meet you Mr. Emberstone.” Billy said tipping her hat to him. ”Did you do the dust compatibilities in that sniper rifle near the front there, too?” she asked excitedly.

“My teacher? Eccentric? No not really. He was very tough on me but in a nice way. With the constant threat of grimm where we were, I had to learn how to fight pretty fast. I remember once I was almost surrounded by grimm and he was about to step in, but I was being stubborn and told him to shut it. He did and I ran out of ammo but I was too stubborn to ask for help still. Keep in mind, this was before I had my own weapon and I had to practice with a normal lever action rifle. So I started hitting the last grimm with the butt of the rifle, until he came over and asked if I needed help and I finally said yes.”

“I was pretty stupid back then, but it was one heck of a learning experience.” She looked at Cat straight in the eye. “He also taught me not to give away all my secrets.”  She held his gaze for a moment and then went back to a more casual tone. “So, tell me, what else do you want to talk about anything other than weapons and semblances?”

I am glad I can keep the speed reduction. I was going to make the symblance like Weiss with floating platforms but I thought that would be less op if went with the symblance touched something.

Aura and Semblance: With his gold aura he controls the semblance of his symbol (the gold circle with chinese words for “heart” and “gold” seen above). He can speed up however fast something is going through his symblance symbol or over his symbol up to eight times its original speed or slow it down up to eight times its original speed. He casts his symbol with a wave of his hand and the symbol can be placed on a surface like a coin. The symbol can be placed flat like a coin on the ground or up and down on its side. The symbol can extend past the size of the surface as long as some part is touching the surface.

Billy’s looked uncomfortable when talking about her semblance, but she started to light up as the conversation moved on to weapons.

“Gunkata you say? I’m surprised anyone can wild a sniper rifle fast enough to do any gunkata. Then again, you do have a rocket to propel it faster through the air so, that makes since. My style is like yours with the lay low and snipe, but instead of gunkata, I’m more or less perfecting the art of the quick draw. I reload faster with the lever action and if you’re going to have to reposition after every shot anyways if your sniping might as well reposition reloading the way you like. I’m all for the heavy hits too.

She became a bit more quiet and shy as she brought up the next part of the conversation.

Oh and to answer your earlier question about the thought process for my weapon. A uh... teacher of mine, well more of a mentor, showed me how to shoot with a gun like it. Before that I had been using pistols and had no control of my aim. Then I needed something for melee and when I flipped my gun around to start hitting things with it, the idea to make the hammer came into being. ”

She laughed as if a funny memory popped into her head. She then looked a bit sad as she reminisced.

“Do you have any mentor or teacher stories?” She asked absentmindedly.

Stopping and starting kinetic energy is a bit OP, I agree. I decided to stick with one.

Here's the new Aura and Semblance:
"Aura and Semblance: With his gold aura he controls the semblance of his symbol (the gold circle with Chinese words for “heart” and “gold” seen above). He can speed up however fast something is going through his semblance symbol or over his symbol up to eight times its original speed. This can be dust infused to shoot dust coated things at opponents. He has control over how fast something is shot at an opponent. This works on dust, inanimate objects, aura users, and creatures of grimm. The size of the symbols diameter can very from the size of his hand to the size of himself standing up straight. If he or another person can move what they want to move through or over the symbol, it can and will fly fast in the direction what they are moving it at. The size of what can be moved goes up to about the size of a two-door car. "

I also added a little to personality and dust functions.

CHARACTER

Name: Attom Goldwyn

Age: 18 years old, 4 Niegre 62 AC

Species and Gender:  Human Male

Symbol: This is also his semblance symbol. It is mandala of the traditional chinese words for heart and gold.

Occupation: Hunter in training

Appearance: Long, straight, golden hair that goes down to the small of his back, that he ties into a ponytail or bun. His eyes are a sharp true blue. Most of his features are sharp and angular. He is thin, weighing in at 130lbs at being 5ft7in. His most distinguishing feature is a gold glowing piece of thunder dust merged with him in the center of his chest.

He dressed well to fight while in Beacon. He likes to wear flowing clothes. He is infamous for his dark blue top coat, gold vest, and dark blue dress pants. He tends to keep his shirts, gloves, and shoes white. Under his shirt and gloves he wears rubber to help ground the electricity and keep himself from exploding if he were to ever get hit with something with his aura down.

History:  Attom Goldwyn was born with a heart condition (arrhythmia) that his aura couldn’t be used to fix. He needed an expensive pacemaker to keep him alive, which his parents spent the money for, but it was a temporary solution. At the age of five the dust for the pacemaker would run out. They just couldn’t get the money in time to replace it but an old town’s person reminded Attom’s parents of dust fusion. It sounded like the better option to go to keep the pacemaker going and fusion could give it a longer cheaper fuel source than the alternative. This… fusion was pretty traumatizing. It never got better for him when he had to refuel the pacemaker, but he learned to hide his pain and fear for the good of others. The suppliers said refueling would always depend on how much dust crystal was fused into his body but he could usually tell that a dust crystal about the size of his palm would last him a year.

Attom Goldwyn grew up in the Vale town of Pactois. His mother was a stay at home mom while his father was a town guard. Being that Pactois was just on the on the outside of the ‘safe zone’ Attom’s dad had a very busy job. His mom was a worry wart that was afraid of grim, and wanted to keep her baby boy safe. She tried to give him what he needed but ended up coddling him and keeping him from other children his age.

His father eventually took him out to train him on how to defend himself. He recognized that Attom wasn’t physically strong so he had to be quick and quick witted to combat his foes. When his aura was unlocked, they both were reminded that the fused dust crystal that was usually inactive and practically harmless, could be wielded by Attom. But it was also discovered that it would drain the yearly supply for his pacemaker. They agreed to only use it as a last resort and use that a thunder dust crystal that was slightly bigger for now on for those occasions, just incase.

As Attom grew up he started to resent his mother and wanted to be a town guard like his father. His father told him that he taught him all he knew and he would have to learn the rest in the training academies.

While at Signal academy, he felt like he knew everything there was to know about hunting and only wanted to know more so he could unlock his semblance. After a quick kick in the pants by the academy professors, he soon learned there was more to it than just learning your semblance. It was about perfecting what you have, creating your weapon, and learning what you can and can’t do with your semblance. He unblocked his semblance during training and made his weapon there as well.

The symbol can extend past the size of the surface as long as some part is touching the surfas.

This can be dust infused to shoot dust coated things at opponents. He has control over how fast something is shot at an opponent. This works on dust, inanimate objects, willing aura users, and creatures of grimm. The size of the symbols diameter can very from the size of his hand to the size of himself standing up straight. If he or another person can move what they want to move through or over the symbol, it can and will fly fast in the direction what they are moving it at. The size of what can be moved goes up to about the size of a two door car.

Combat Behavior: Attom has been trained to fight quickly and outsmart his opponent. He likes to trash talk. He relies heavily on his semblance for movement, casting dust at his opponents, and shielding himself. He tries not to get into physical fights without his weapon because he’s terrible at dealing out damage without it. If he can lead his opponent into a trap, he will. He has to keep his chest protected at all times during a fight, because aura alone isn’t enough to protect a dust crystal all the time. He has to be careful not to overexert his heart either. He isn’t a very good team player but that’s something he’ll have to work on. He keeps coins in his pocket to use as surfaces for his semblance. He is afraid of opponents who use electric dust against him.

WEAPON

Name: Merlin

Primary Form: In Merlins primary form, its overall shape is a gilded/ornate pole that is about a meter long. At the very bottom of the poles handle is a rotating dust chamber slot where Attom can choose which dust he wants to use for his attack and push it in the center of the pole. The opposite end of the pole is where the dust is extruded thanks to a sharp crystal looking points that glow whatever dust color is being used. The whole pole is strong and maintained often to keep it’s mostly gold color.

Secondary Form: The bottom of the pole extends out with a twist of the handle to make Merlin staff sized. The handle, and dust trigger, is still in the middle-ish of the staff.

Dust Functions:
This baby is all dust function along with his dust infused semblance. He uses his semblance for ranged attacks with the same effects.

Fire: Burning an opponent for extra damage.
Ice: Freezing an opponent in place
Thunder: Electrical shock stunning an opponent or taking extra damage.
Earth: For throwing projectiles at opponents and used as a base to get coated in dust through the symbol.

Who did he think he was? Asking her to double check a fight just to get his name. Billy’s smile drooped for a moment as her eyebrows furrowed. She placed her smile back on and tried to be polite. Then he asked her about her load out. She hesitated for a moment weighing the options of telling him in her head before thinking screw it and telling him.

“Nice to meet you Cat. Well, my semblance is relatively short ranged so I usually use it for mele and to trip up an opponent. I don’t have that many tricks I can do with it yet, but I’m working on trying to strengthen it so I can use it to pull me towards a target instead of the other way around. It’s cool that we have the almost the same hammer/snipers. What inspired you to make yours that way?”

Personality: Being stuck at home you kind of pick up a few weird habits and fears as in: like not liking dirt at all, fear of death by uncontrolled electrical currents, having nothing or too much to talk about, and no inbetween. Attom doesn’t know how to share very well, or doesn’t care about giving things back. He has been fusing dust inside of him for such a long time that he has learned how to hide his pain very well. It’s scary. He sees others in pain, tries to judge on how painful it is vs how common people get in that kind of pain, and then give sympathy. If he can’t see the pain, you get automatic sympathy… unless it’s a headache. He tries to be fair but tends to favor himself.

Aura and Semblance: With his gold aura he controls the semblance of his symbol. He can control whether his symbol can stop or propel kinetic energy. The other side of the symbol does the opposite of propel or stopping kinetic energy. This can be dust infused to shoot dust, among other things at people.

Combat Behavior: Attom has been trained to fight quickly and outsmart his opponent. He likes to trash talk. He relies heavily on his semblance, for movement and casting dust at his opponents. He tries not to get into physical fights without his weapon because he’s terrible at dealing out damage without it. If he can lead his opponent into a trap, he will.
