Regarding initiation, I'll just quote the message I got from jjb:

There are many ways to run an initiation:

1. For a more traditional, straight-forward initiation, you can do it in the same manner as the show in season one.
2. For a slightly different approach, you can treat this as your first mission together or as a "getting to know one another" type of initiation.

I usually go with the second as it gives more variety to what you can do as well as makes it more interesting. However, it's always harder because you gotta think of a good mission as well as the whole story behind the mission. The first idea is cut and dry...go in, kill Grimm, grab piece, and come back out alive.

If you need a mission idea then let me know...I'm sure I can configure something up in my head. Just let me know if you need my help with that.

If anyone has anything in mind, well, let's get going. I can't say I have any terribly interesting mission ideas at the moment but if all else fails I'm sure I could put something together.

If we're going with Kaliot's idea of doing it near a beach, how about search and recovery of an abandoned, washed up ship of some kind?

JJB shot me "Tragedy Amidst The Foaming Sea". If we combine all the ideas we got so far, we could have the team investigate an beached and abandoned ship along the coastline. I'd love to have a little mystery.

Main problem with mystery though is that I want everyone to have control over adding to the story, and that may cause some holes or loose ends. I could just be overthinking it though like I usually do.

We could set up a mystery where all of our characters have their own idea about what happened, and we decide later what really happened based on how the story is going. I'm envisioning a scenario where a relatively large (so not cruise ship huge but large enough to investigate the interior) washes up in a cove along the western coast of Vale, and we're sent in to check it out.
