Razzy's attack had gone exactly according to keikaku, though the force of the explosion did strike him as well, sending him tumbling along the dirt. Still, the boy got back up on his feet around the same time as his foe did, still smiling, though there was some pain visible in his expression.

Razzy switched Rozhe back to blade form and listened to Zabar's words, carefully watching his moves. The appearance of the fireball came as a surprise, to say the least.

"I do like to think I'm pretty adaptable!" The boy called out, eager to prove just that. Two projectiles were about to head his way. Whatever cover he could find would likely explode itself, making things so much worse for him. But even with this  in his mind, he remembered his opponent's words: Play dumb.

When the projectiles left Zabar's hands, Razz rushed forward, diving once he was a couple meters away from his original position. The explosions which struck the ground didn't hit him directly, but the damage (-6%) still got him some. Dust and debris were thrown up into the air, raining over the boy. He had to get up quickly.

Zabar was going all out now, just like he had promised he would. Alright, no biggie, Razz still had a good shot at this. They were even, after all, so it was anyone's ga- And Zabar was attacking again. Crap.

Razz was prepared to block another attack, possibly to use the same going-with-the-force tactic as before, but was a bit bewildered when the attack seemed to miss him entirely. Just as he was turning around to face his foe, he realized what was happening. And he didn't like it one bit.

Razz brought his sword up in time to block, but not in time to brace himself. The result was his blade flying out from his hand, sailing through the air and landing about 20 meters away, now in the geyser side of the arena. Oh, bother.

"Uh. Oops." He said, now staring his opponent face-to-face while disarmed. At this point, he did the only sane thing.

He ran like hell. He had to get his weapon back, and, at the very least, could use the geysers to buy him some time. But there was a problem with this plan, one which he realized immediately. Zabar was fast.

So, despite the fatigue which it would cost him, Razz used his semblance once more, and to a much higher extent. Rather than a brief, distracting bunch of squiggly lines and odd colors, this was a full whirlwind of lights around Zabar's head. Like a rock concert light show right up in one's face. It only lasted for about two seconds, but took a bit out of the pink-clad boy. He just hoped it was enough to buy him the time he needed to get in among the geysers.

Razzy blinked, momentarily confused, but then gave a nod and a thumbs up to his opponent. " Alright, you've got it! Thanks!" He said. Zabar then went for his charge.

Him going into melee was exactly what the boy had hoped for. It was time do just what Zabar had told him to do: play dumb. Although, probably not in the way he meant it. Razz hopped back even closer to the crystal, one hand holding his blade while the other still held the dust cartridges.

Zabar appeared to be doing a wide strike, and as such, the boy went to place his sword in front of it. Meanwhile his legs went into a crouching position, ready to jump to the side. As his opponent neared Razz, the boy used his semblance to conjure more lights in front of his opponent's eyes. Zabar appeared to prefer using momentum for his strikes in melee thus far, so if the boy had figured things out right...

Razz made no attempt to resist the force of Zabar's strike on his blade. Matter of fact, he went along with it, jumping in the same direction. As he did, he flicked the button to turn Rozhe Orchideya into its rifle form while tossing several dust cartridges onto the place where he had just been standing.

He landed not-so-gracefully on his back, sliding a bit on the rocky landscape, but didn't have time to think about the pebbles under his shirt just yet. He quickly shoved a cartridge into his gun, aimed at the ones on the ground, and fired. He hoped to all hell this worked, though even if it did, it'd hurt him as well.

(Crystal blowing up is 20%, shot itself is 8%. If the crystal blows up, Razz himself ends up taking 10% damage.)

When Zabar called out, Razz instantly figured what his opponent was planning to do. As such, Razz did the only sane thing he could think of. That is, he jumped in front of his opponent's shot. By this point, he was almost used to getting zapped. Not that it was pleasant, though.

Razz considered using his rifle for a moment, but decided against it. His opponent was fast, and his gun wasn't loaded. He had to pay full concentration to his every move so Zabar wouldn't pull another attack like the cape one off. He did, however, make sure he had some dust cartridges prepared.

After a moment of shock from the lightning, Razzy laughed a bit and knocked on the side of his head with his knuckle. "Guess I didn't think that one through entirely. You're a really good shot with that!" He said and took a defensive stance yet again. If Zabar tried the lightning again, he should be able to block it without taking damage this time. Hopefully.

Reggie took a moment to respond to Ash. The snotty shitstain on humanity looked between his teammates, then back to his father, who was now entering his ship. A faint smile appeared on his lips.

"Y-you're right! It's a test! He didn't mean all of that, clearly! I-I'm sure, once he gets back, he'll call me, and-"

"Pretty sure if he hadn't meant it, I wouldn't be here, you little shit." Silica interrupted him. "So you better clean up your act, or I'll be having a talk with you." She said. Silica was right miffed, and stormed off before Reginald could comprehend how his underling had just called him a 'little shit'.

The boy looked down at the wig which had fallen off his head. Was all of this... for real? Had his father actually just hit him? Was he really being essentially disowned?

Rufus gladly shook her hand, as classmates of both gave a cheer. Rufus' mates had less so expected a victory, and more so expected a jolly good show, and that much they definitely got. Their teacher, however, wasn't as pleased with the second year actually losing. Still, with both of them having showed valiant effort, there was little room to complain.

The rapper was just slightly salty about the whole ordeal.

Zabar had managed to dodge Razzy's attack entirely, which didn't really come as much of a surprise. The boy was prepared to avoid an attack, so the ice didn't get him as he hopped into the air.

The following shoulder charge gave him less time to act, though. The boy decided that with his footing, his best option was simply immediate retaliation. The charge was definitely fierce, but it could go both ways. Razz swung his blade out, crouching slightly and taking a single step forward, going for a stab at Zabar's side with his left hand, utilizing his own charge to deal damage.

He used his other arm to essentially 'receive' the charge. While taking full damage from it if Zabar kept going, the boy tried to give himself momentum while keeping some balance. He could use the attack to launch himself back towards that crystal he saw earlier, despite it being risky.

The boy was flung through the air, and had to tuck into a roll as he hit the ground once more. He was in front of the crystal again, his cape just a few meters away from him. The boy quickly got back up on his feet, taking a defensive stance again.

This was it. This was the attack that would decide the fight. He knew that getting hit would count him out immediately, but he was hardly in a position to avoid it. The best he could do was go out like a champ.

Rufus cracked his knuckled and bent his knees, staring down his opponent. When she started the charge, so did he. The boy wasted no time, as he saw his opportunity with Lavender going for a spin to increase her momentum. He readied a punch and activated his semblance for one last time this match.

"If I am to lose, it won't be by your rules; my words are my weapons and tools, my own way to fall I'll choose!" He shouted out, a burst of force escaping his lips once more, striking the girl during her attack. It slowed her down just slightly, but the charge allowed him to get a hit in: a right hook to her face. His and her speed combined, the strike was enough to knock her aura down to nearly being counted out herself. Meanwhile Rufus' aura was knocked below that limit just from his own punch. The following whack to the face by the shield nearly depleted it entirely.

The young rapper was flung back, going for a not-so-gracious fall and roll along the dirt, stopping about ten meters away. He was covered in dirt and sweat, and his pants had taken some serious damage from earlier, and he had just lost. Still, as he shakily stood up on his legs, there was a smile on his.

"You're damn good lass, you've bested me for sure. I'll let this one pass, but I'm gonna want a rematch one day, so I hope you'll be good for more."

Razzy smiled a bit at his own attack connecting. His opponent was really good, but they did indeed seem to be on some equal footing at the moment. "A little bit of A, a little bit of B!" Razzy answered, giving a slight thumbs up and a broad, gleeful smile. "And yeah! This is already turning out super fun!" the boy added, readying his blade again.

He as well glanced briefly at the aura gauges, and was almost surprised to see both him and his opponent at equal percentage. He then turned back to his foe, gave a quick nod, and went for a move he might as well patent at this point: A charge consisting of him hopping from one leg to the other, moving from side to side. For the actual attack, he went with a straight stab at his chest combined with a kick at his foe's legs. It seemed that protecting them was slightly more of a challenge, after all.

Rufus' had actually thought the fight was over with that move of his. His aura was so close to having him lose, he had thought her falling on him would probably have done it. But it seemed he still had some shot at fighting. Somehow.

He was now in possession of her spear, for a brief moment. He hadn't expected this, but he was decent enough with polearms, and flipped the weapon in his hand to face his foe proper. While he wasn't expecting the burst from below, he was ready to block by mere coincidence.

The power of the blow, however, was quite notable. He had placed her own spear in front of himself, intending to block the attack, but the force actually knocked him back. The short-legged rapper sailed through the air, letting go of the spear and letting it fly off, then tucking into a roll on the ground.

The boy was panting now, and his aura was so low he'd be counted out if she just looked at him harshly enough. But she seemed to be in a similar state, and was disarmed. Though his main issue, the shield, was still present. Shit.

A whack to the back of the head sent a large amount of pain Razzy's way, and before he knew it, he was flying through the air. He had to react quickly to this if he didn't want to get destroyed in the following seconds. The boy swung his rifle in front of himself and down a bit, and fired, the fire dust cartridge still having a bit of steam in it.

While he did use up the last of the dust for it, he managed to at least slow his momentum down some, a puff of fire and red smoke escaping the barrel of Rozhe Orchideya. He managed to land on the ground without taking damage, albeit not gracefully. But his opponent didn't wait for a second, and fired another burst of lightning immediately.

Though he wasn't fully prepared for the attack, he had at least figured out what he could expect from the previous time Zabar had used lightning. He rolled under the attack, but was shocked briefly by it.

Now it was Razzy's turn to attack. Not having the time to reload his rifle, he swung it overhead, swiftly turning it back into blade form. He then proceeded to use it to cut loose his cloak, letting it flow away behind him, his foe clearly seeing it as a weakness. Razz then charged his opponent, first using semblance to summon a bunch of pretty lights and squiggly lines in front of Zabar's eyes before going for a set of slashes at his legs and a stab at his abdomen.

Getting that hit in was good news for the rapper. But now he had to defend himself, and thus far, it hadn't gone that well. Still, he definitely didn't give up. But with each and every strike his foe made, he could sense himself being thrown more and more off-balance, the ground below turning to ice.

What followed was a move of either persistence or desperation. He just barely avoided a stab from the spear, and as it was right next to his abdomen he jutted his arm down, grabbing the shaft. He knew he was about to fall, but he was doing that on his own terms. The rapper yanked the spear towards himself, sliding his legs forwards and going for a straight plummet towards the ground, hopefully pulling his foe along with him. As he did so, he even tried to slide his short ole legs ahead a bit to knock her off balance.

405
Razzy was a bit surprised that his attacks weren't dodged at all, but he was far from complaining about it. After his set of two strikes, the boy hopped back a bit and took a slightly more defensive stance. His foe proceeded to sail through the air, seemingly going for a strike from above. And yet, that wasn't entirely the case.

"Whoa!" When Razz was yanked back by his cloak, he was certainly startled. So much so, that he wasn't able to immediately respond, but he figured enough to try and keep his balance. The boy's finger flicked the button on the pommel of the blade, extending the weapon slightly and forming a rifle. Razzy used this to keep himself from falling, but he was now a bit lopsided in his stance, and was still being held by the back of his cloak. He was not doing well for himself.
