”Welcome back to the forty-first bi-annual Vytal Festival Tournament! Right now, we have a VERY special match for you.” Excitement can be heard from Hunter’s voice. ”We have one of the leBlanc siblings from Atlas Academy! I love those kids!” Hunter gives off a “huh?” as the staff on hand tried to get Hunter to specify which sibling. ”Oh, it says here that it’s Aurum, but I wouldn’t put it past Avery or Sovereign to impersonate the guy. They were a fun trio, I’ll admit. Shame to see Sovereign drop out.” More communication between staff and the announcer.”How can I tell which sibling it is? I usually can’t.” Brief pause as Hunter realizes he should probably be less biased. ”Oh, and we have this guy from Beacon Academy with Treehouse for a last name. Prim?”

”Well Hunter, there’s an easy way to tell the difference between them. Take a look at their stupid smug grins, and you can tell that they vary in smugness. This picture here makes me think they’re going to try and steal my pants, so it’s probably Aurum. That’s d-definitely just an example though. Anyways, we really don’t have much about this Treehouse fellow. However, he did list 2 pages of rules on his information sheet when he signed up. I didn’t exactly read it all, but you could probably make a religion out of all this text.” Angrily recalling more stupid pranks, Prim would motion to start the spinner in hopes that Aurum would get the shit-covered field that totally exists.

A large holographic image of a lottery machine appears on all sides of the arena, with two spinners. The spinners spun so quickly, making it nearly impossible to make out the passing words. It ticked through the options slower and slower until it finally stopped on Geyser and Desert.

The floor of the arena lowered and, in its place, arose two new floors. On Mogan’s side, rocky plains would arise. With innumerable rocks to count, the true dangers of the field would lie underneath them. Geysers that shoot steaming hot jets of water can catch any unsuspecting fool that’s standing over one. On Aurum’s side,  a ‘vast’ desert emerged featuring large sand dunes and, of course, plenty of sand to slow down combatants. However, thick pools of quicksand could also be seen due to the unmistakable different coloration of the sand. In case it needs to be said, don’t fall in one of those!

As the spinner finished its job and faded away, the doors on each side of the arena opened to signify the start of the match.

(A coin flip has decided that Mogan will get the first post. The arena size is identical to that of the 1v1 arena in the show, however, it features scaled down biomes to fit the size. Good luck, and may the best combatant win.)

”Alright kiddos, welcome back to the tournament! Like always, we only have beacon students participating. Uh….” Sounds of rustling papers get picked up by the arena as Hunter tries to find out who’s actually participating. ”Um… Right! So we have the third year bracket with the first match between…” Sounds of more paper rustling gets picked up. Suddenly, Hunter lets out a small sound of victory, ”Okay! We have Airi Okairos who has a really bad resting bitch face. As for the opponent, we have Aurelia Lumen.” Awkward pause. ”I have nothing to say, I got no material on either of them.” Hunter seems to be a little salty about his inability to make memes from the two combatants.

”Uh yes, I’m sorry about that. It would seem that my partner completely fails at announcing if there’s nothing visibly funny about the combatant. So anyways, you’d better hope you’re not on the defense against Airi, because her use of afterimages can really mess with your head! On the other hand...the Faunus has a surprisingly effective mount which is weird, but definitely be aware of charge attacks!”. Searching through her script so she’s better prepared for the next match, Prim would quickly motion to start the spinner.

On Airi’s side, several trees similar to the ones found in the Emerald Forest emerged. Nothing too special, really. On Aurelia’s side, what initially appears to be a snowy field contains ice dust crystals under the thin layer of snow that can freeze you in place if you don’t watch where you step.

As the spinner finished its job and faded away, the doors on each side of the arena opened to signify the start of the match.

”Good afternoon and welcome back to the forty-first bi-annual Vytal Festival tournament!” a refined and silvery female voice would say through the arena’s sound system, deciding to cooperate with the dull script...for now. ”Today we’re here to bring you the finals of the 2nd year 1v1 bracket. I’ll not keep you all waiting, so let’s move on to the introductions, shall we?” A shuffling of scripts could then be heard in the background, and a couple of whispers were exchanged. ”W-Well, it’s time to introduce our combatants who I don’t really even need to mention are from Beacon Academy! First of all we have Rev Vermilion, the mechanic...claymore guy? And on the other side w-we have Razz...Razzledazzle. Razzledazzle Gay...Lee? Yeah, Razzledazzle Gay-Lee" (There was a very noticeable pause between ‘Gay’ and ‘Lee’) ”,who has an illusory semblance that perfectly fits his name!” Dying of embarrassment, Prim could only hope that she would never actually encounter Mr. Gay-Lee. Deciding to step out instead of facing the reactions from Hunter and the crowd, Prim would turn off her mic and say ”I have to pee!”

With a shit eating grin, Hunter couldn’t help but snark. ”How very rude of Prim, that’s just his name. Razzledazzle Gay-Lee, I must apologize for my partner’s immature attitude.” Motioning for the environmental spinner, Hunter laces his finger together as the spinner does its thing. ”This might be an interesting matchup, but we’ll have to see!"

The floor of the arena lowered and, in its place, arose two new floors. On Razzmatazz’s side, the area would be filled with rather smooth and rounded terrain as crystals of Wind Dust emerge from the ground. As for Revya, it would be littered with destroyed buildings throughout, enough to provide cover for a firefight but not enough to simply hide away.

(A coin flip has decided that Razzmatazz will get the first post. The arena size is identical to that of the 1v1 arena in the show, however, it features scaled down biomes to fit the size. Good luck, and may the best combatant win.)

”Hey hey hey everybody! Welcome back to the forty-first Biannual Vytal Festival tournament!” Hunter’s lively and fresh voice flowed through the arena’s sound system. ”This is our second to last match for the first round, and in this matchup, we have Juno Vert from Beacon Academy. Personally, trying to compensate with technology doesn’t work too well when you’re in Atlas. As for the other Beacon student, we have Coco-” A chair can be heard sliding back as the sound system suddenly had an echo filter put over it. First awkward pause. Suddenly, a loud and yelling voice echoed out, NUT NUT NUT NUT NUT NUT NUT NUT NUT NUT. Second awkward pause. ”I refuse to apologize, because Nut-boi will cream every combatant in the tournament. Prim, do your thing.”

Motioning to start the spinner, Prim would add ”You know, I honestly can’t see how parents can be so irresponsible. Giving your child a name like Coconut is just asking for them to be made fun of as they get older. It’s a real shame too, he has so much potential. Good looking if he fixed that bedhead, nice clothes, and a stylish semblance to boot. Good luck Sir Nut, and consider coming over to Atlas!” Finally realizing how biased she was appearing, she also added ”Oh, and good luck to Uno...or whatever it was”.

A large holographic image of a lottery machine appears on all sides of the arena, with two spinners. The spinners spun so quickly, making it nearly impossible to make out the passing words. It ticked through the options slower and slower until it finally stopped on Swamp and Forest.

On Juno’s side,  the area would be difficult to traverse. Murky water would take up most of the arena, and what isn’t water is mud or trees. In the middle of the swamp, a small rectangular wooden dock would rise out of the water. ”He’d better hope none of that tech gets too muddy!” On Coconut’s side, several trees similar to the ones found in the Emerald Forest emerged. Nothing too special, really.

As the spinner finished its job and faded away, the doors on each side of the arena opened to signify the start of the match.

”You know. I’ve been thinking about this.” Sounds of Hunter tapping on his desk were picked up by the arena. ”So far, we’ve only seen… How many? Five? Five Beacon students. Looking at the bracket, I’ve noticed that the rest of the matches are also between Beacon students.” Hunter’s chair creaks as he leans forward as his eyes suddenly got a lot more serious. ”We’ve only had one non-Beacon kid so far, so where’s our kids?” With no response, Hunter can only release a melancholic sigh and properly start the next match after delaying it with his revelation. ”Whatever. Prism Skylark versus Kisha Miles. Both from Beacon Academy.” Motioning for Prim to handle the environmental spinner, Hunter could only sulk in his seat.

Also quite disheartened by the total lack of Atlas students, Prim would comment saying ”Um...yes, I’m sure that all of our bright students are too busy on important military excursions to participate in the tournament. It’s a real shame, because we would almost definitely emerge victorious.” As the crowd erupted in laughter, Prim would quickly clear her throat and continue by adding “Anyways, here’s the environment spinner” As the spinner did it’s job, Prim would attempt to console her partner with a very awkward hug that thankfully couldn’t be seen by anyone. Despite being a constant pain in the neck, he was her pain in the neck.

A large holographic image of a lottery machine appears on all sides of the arena, with two spinners. The spinners spun so quickly, making it nearly impossible to make out the passing words. It ticked through the options slower and slower until it finally stopped on Desert and Oasis.

The floor of the arena lowered and, in its place, arose two new floors. On Prism’s side a ‘vast’ desert emerged featuring large sand dunes and, of course, plenty of sand to slow down combatants. Kisha’s side contains a sizeable pool of water surrounded by palm trees and more sand, although it is notably more flat than Prism’s side of the arena.

As the spinner finished its job and faded away, the doors on each side of the arena opened to signify the start of the match.

(A coin flip has decided that Prism will get the first post. The arena size is identical to that of the 1v1 arena in the show, however, it features scaled down biomes to fit the size. Good luck, and may the best combatant win.)

”Welcome back everybody to the last match of the first round! All the matches have been super exciting thus far, so let’s make this last one a blast!” With a loud and booming voice fitting for an announcer, Hunter begins to introduce the final participants, ”Billy Boner!” A snicker can be heard through the speakers. “A fine sharpshooter from the west Beacon Academy versus… Lady Blair Valka of Felwinter?” The humor in his voice drained away, leaving only confusion. ”Is… is she a wannabe princess or something? Why would you… you don’t put titles in the section asking for your name!” Sounds of crumpling paper fills the arena as Hunter proceeds to sink the shot into a trashcan nearby. ”Alright whatever, she’s from Beacon Academy too. Sharpshooter Boner versus Princess Valka! Kill each other for my amusement!”

In an attempt to refrain from laughing at the easiest dick joke ever made, Prim would move on to correct her partner. “Actually Hunter, you’re very clearly mistaken here. This official document we have states that her first name is not Blair, but Lady. Look how she wrote it! But anyways, best of luck to both Lady and Boner. Let’s see what the spinner gives them!”

A large holographic image of a lottery machine appears on all sides of the arena, with two spinners. The spinners spun so quickly, making it nearly impossible to make out the passing words. It ticked through the options slower and slower until it finally stopped on Swamp and Desert.

The floor of the arena lowered and, in its place, arose two new floors. On Billy’s side, the area would be difficult to traverse. Murky water would take up most of the arena, and what isn’t water is mud or trees. Although in this variant of the swamp, a rickety old wooden dock would stand above the swamp. While keeping combatants out of the swamp, be wary of losing your balance! On Blair’s side a ‘vast’ desert emerged featuring large sand dunes and, of course, plenty of sand to slow down combatants.

As the spinner finished its job and faded away, the doors on each side of the arena opened to signify the start of the match.

(A coin flip has decided that Blair will get the first post. The arena size is identical to that of the 1v1 arena in the show, however, it features scaled down biomes to fit the size. Good luck, and may the best combatant win.)

“Good afternoon Beacon students, Beacon competitors, and Beacon sponsors alike and welcome back to the forty-first bi-annual Beacon Festival tournament.” a refined and silvery female voice would say through the arena’s sound system, sounding as if someone had killed her puppy and took a big shit on her front steps. "Today’s Beacon festival match has two competitors from Beacon. Our first competitor is Sandy Smoke, whose semblance has as many applications as this tournament does students from Atlas! Facing off against him will be Setsuna Antiqua, with a semblance that can hopefully make this match go by faster!” Beginning to question everything she knew about Atlas, Prim would motion to her trusty partner Hunter to handle the environment spinner.

”You know, now that I think about it.” Hunter does the motion to start the holographic spinner. The spinners spun so quickly, making it nearly impossible to make out the passing words while Hunter continued his thoughts, ”Haven’t we seen the knight-shtick a little too much? And why are there so many hit-and-run students? I swear, we used to have students that packed more of a punch…” It ticked through the options slower and slower until it finally stopped on Mountain and Ocean.

”Oh that’s not fun.” Rising on Sandy’s side would be massive formations of rock that stand tall, with parts of the mountains allowing standoffs that can be used to hang onto. As for Setsuna, there was only one large bank that goes off into vast body of water. Littered along the body of water would be remnants of a ship that can be used as cover and something to stand on.
As the spinner finished its job and faded away, the doors on each side of the arena opened to signify the start of the match.

(A coin flip has decided that Setsuna will get the first post. The arena size is identical to that of the 1v1 arena in the show, however, it features scaled down biomes to fit the size. Good luck, and may the best combatant win.)

“Good afternoon friends, competitors, and sponsors alike and welcome back to the forty-first bi-annual Vytal Festival tournament!” a refined and silvery female voice would say through the arena’s sound system, sounding increasingly annoyed at having to repeat the same part of the script every match. "Today we have an intense match between two Beacon...students.” Twitching with anger at the thought of the entire first year 1v1 bracket being from Beacon, Prim would push her script to the side of the desk and continue. They didn’t get paid enough for this anyways. ”In this match we have Samantha Quartz, whose echolocation ability makes sense considering she looks like she lives in a cave. We also have Camelia Sol whose gravitational semblance will surely affect that big chest of hers.” Surprised her mic didn’t immediately get cut, Prim would motion towards Hunter to introduce the environmental spinner.

Briefly surprised by Prim, Hunter had an uneasy grin as Prim basically took Hunter’s role as the announcer duo. ”Eh? Isn’t that a little too harsh?” However, Hunter saw an amazing opportunity as his grin easily turned shit-eating. ”Or maybe you’re a little jealous because you’re lacking in some areas?” Quickly (and hopefully) diverting attention away from his little comment, he screams in excitement, ”LET’S GET READY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUMBLE!” As Hunter just sentenced himself to death, a sound system breaking ”I’M VERY COMFORTABLE WITH MY SIZE, TH-” could be heard before the mics were inevitably cut for the 100th time during this tournament.

The floor of the arena lowered and, in its place, arose two new floors. On Samantha’s side, the area would be difficult to traverse. Murky water would take up most of the arena, and what isn’t water is mud or trees. As for Camelia, the entire floor was filled with ice, as ice pillars of varying sizes and shapes stand tall.

As the spinner finished its job and faded away, the doors on each side of the arena opened to signify the start of the match.

“Good afternoon friends, competitors, and sponsors alike and welcome back to the forty-first bi-annual Vytal Festival tournament!” a refined and silvery female voice would say through the arena’s sound system, still using the generic intro script that she was given. "Today we’re very proud to present our first match containing a student from Haven academy! In this match of the first year 1v1 bracket we have Aca...zilla Nahualli-Roth, the exotic looking young lady from Haven who can turn anything into a yoyo! Fighting against her we have Smokey Emberstone, the immovable object part of that...one paradox!” Turning to her partner in the booth, Prim would ask “Any thoughts on these two surely wonderful combatants, Hunter?”hoping that he had miraculously adopted a new refined personality. Also in hopes that nobody had noticed her very likely mispronunciation of Aca’s name.

A brief, yet awkward pause fills the arena. ”Exotic as in…” Hunter’s struggle for words can be felt by the arena. Then, a tired sigh was let out as he decided to give up on being polite. ”Alright, I’ll be honest. She looks really, really dumb. Congrats on being a non-Beacon student though!” With Hunter understanding his response would only bring about his demise and that any delay would only worsen his fate, he exaggerates a spinning motion as the large holographic image of a lottery machine appears on all sides of the arena, with two spinners. The spinners spun so quickly, making it nearly impossible to make out the passing words. It ticked through the options slower and slower until it finally stopped on Savannah and Wind Dust Field.

The floor of the arena lowered and, in its place, arose two new floors. On Aca’s side, large patches of wildgrass filled that part of the arena. Numerous Acacia trees litter the environment. If one was not careful, this area can be dangerous for those unaware. As for Smokey, he would have to deal with rough and coarse dirt, full of wind dust crystals ready to release their flurry of energy.

As the spinner finished its job and faded away, the doors on each side of the arena opened to signify the start of the match.

(A coin flip has decided that Aca will get the first post. The arena size is identical to that of the 1v1 arena in the show, however, it features scaled down biomes to fit the size. Good luck, and may the best combatant win.)

A roughed up Hunter takes up the screen, but that doesn’t stop him from displaying an aura of enthusiasm! “Welcome back everyone to the forty-first Biannual Vytal Festival, and I do hope that you’ve been enjoying the fine kingdom of Atlas! However, we’ve returned to the good part of the festival! We’re gonna watch kids and adults alike beat each other to within an inch of their life!” A roar of approval erupts from the audience as Hunter’s now energetic voice reeks with a desire for entertainment and ike any good announcer his voice is filled with excitement. ”In this match we have the almighty marksman, Catalina Glenn! Now don’t be fooled by his opponent, the gentle giant will surely give Catalina knightmares! Give it up for Michael Vaktar!” Without any further delay, Hunter wraps his arm around his most dedicated partner Prim. With a cocky grin, Hunter could only exclaim, ”Prim my dear, decide their fates!”

Already used to her partner’s constant physical contact, she would continue in her usual refined voice albeit with a slight tone of annoyance. "I’ll leave that up to the environment spinner, my dear! But I have decided your fate for later”. As the spinner appeared, Prim would shoot her beloved partner a look that just screamed “Cut the shit and be official”, trying her best not to beat the shit out of him for now.

A large holographic image of a lottery machine appears on all sides of the arena, with two spinners. The spinners spun so quickly, making it nearly impossible to make out the passing words. It ticked through the options slower and slower until it finally stopped on Mountain and Ice Dust Field.

The floor of the arena lowered and, in its place, arose two new floors. On Catalina's side, flat rocky formations rose from the ground ending in a perilous cliff near the top. On Michael’s side, what initially appears to be a snowy field contains ice dust crystals under the thin layer of snow that can freeze you in place if you don’t watch where you step.

As the spinner finished its job and faded away, the doors on each side of the arena opened to signify the start of the match.

“Good afternoon friends, competitors, and sponsors alike and welcome to the forty-first bi-annual Vytal Festival tournament!” a refined and silvery female voice would say through the arena’s sound system, very unbefitting given the amount of cheering that overtook the arena. “My name is Primrose Cyrillo Palatine II, Professor of Combat Etiquette & Flow here at Atlas academy! Here with me in the booth is Hunter d’Azur, Professor of Battlefield Strategy and Combat Survival Training! Who...unfortunately had to step out for a moment!” Although nobody in the audience could see, the amateur announcer would struggle to hold back the anger that she harbored towards her partner and co-announcer.
“Well anyhow, I’ll not keep you from the surely amazing fights to come! In this first round of the first year 1v1 we have Akeldama Blood-Heart, the super-hearing Beacon student vs. Ayaka Miyamoto, the swift swordswoman also from Beacon!”

Suddenly, the bang of a door rings out through the arena as a tired voice begins to fill the arena, "Ah, I'm sorry I'm late.. I completely forgot about the tournament." Plopping down next to Prim, Hunter's sleep-addled mind could not stop him from making his thoughts clear. "Blood-Heart? Isn't that, uh... God, were they sparkly vampires or something?" Clearly, Hunter did not seem all too prepared, as the camera crew decided to start the environment spinner to begin the first fight.

A large holographic image of a lottery machine appears on all sides of the arena, with two spinners. The spinners spun so quickly, making it nearly impossible to make out the passing words. It ticked through the options slower and slower until it finally stopped on River and Fire Dust Field.

The floor of the arena lowered and, in its place, arose two new floors. On Akel’s side, rough patches of grass were cut in half by a single river that slowly flowed off the arena itself. As for Ayaka, the floor would be filled with the rubble of destroyed boulders as fire dust crystals of various sizes are planted around the arena, ready to be detonated at the slightest touch.
As Hunter took his seat and the spinner did it’s job, Prim would shoot her partner a death glare that could incapacitate even the most veteran of huntsmen. Before the mics were quickly cut, a loud thud and a very angry “DO YOU KNOW HOW FU-” could be heard.

As the combat in the announcer’s booth began, so did the main event. The doors on each side of the arena opened, allowing the combatants to enter the arena.

(A coin flip has decided that Ayaka will get the first post. The arena size is identical to that of the 1v1 arena in the show, however, it features scaled down biomes to fit the size. Good luck, and may the best combatant win.)

Somewhat confident that Alex would pick 'dare', Julia had brainstormed something rather fast. Since she had noticed Alex greet Zwei when she entered, she knew they must have some type of relationship, whether it be as acquaintances, teammates, or lovers. Either way, it would be somewhat interesting. Excited to see what would transpire, Julia would enthusiastically say "Alex, I dare you to be Zwei's faithful slave for the next 2 rounds. If you disobey, you'll have to take 2 dares as punishment! Enjoy!"

28
Knowing that this dare would be much worse for the person she would be sitting on, Julia would give a confident "Okie-dokie!" Sadly, she couldn't pick the person who's had the least interesting dares tonight, so she would have to go for the 2nd best options. In an attempt to make an informed decision, Julia would think to herself "Wellllllll, Zwei has only had truths...and he enjoyed that kiss. Tristan and Alex had to kiss, Setsuna clearly didn't enjoy the kiss, and I can't pick Isabelle. Is there someone I'm forge- MAO!" Instantly knowing who to choose as the name came to her, Julia would rapidly close in on Mao and take a seat on the vacant boy's lap [Auto-sit, boyo]. If one were to describe how painfully bony Julia's ass was, think of high quality tent spikes smelted in the fires of hell.

As she took her seat, Julia would happily say "I hope you don't mind my stay!" which was followed by a hearty giggle. Almost forgetting to select a new victim, Julia would rapidly point to Alex and say "Oh, and Alex, Truth or Dare?!"

29
Still sitting cross-legged with a rather devious grin on her face, Julia would keep the name "Lucina" in mind. Just in case she ever met this person, she would know to give her some valuable information about Isabelle. Lost in thoughts, it would take Julia about a minute to respond after noticing that she was probably called due to the weird silence accompanied by everyone looking in her general direction. In another attempt to raise the level of the game, she would reply with a confident "Dare!"
