Do you have a Tinder? If you don't, what would your profile read like if you did have one?

Gus, 20
Less than a mile away

About Gus
I am an incredibly selfish lover.
I eat with my hands at restaurants.
I once too my neighbors kid to pick up a girl and didn't tell his parents.
I often take coins from wishing wells.
I am not allowed within 200ft of a school or playground.
I am 5ft and 3in, those are two measurements.
Welcome to the fuckin show.

Think its fair to say that you're at the spearhead of the larger plots that happen on this site, so I was wondering if you prefer that sorta role (essentially more of a GM) over being a player?

Wouldn't know, never been able to finish a thread I think so, yeah. I like being able to treat my characters, full or not, as essentially NPCs so that I can let the story focus on others characters. Plus I don't get burnt out playing a single character in longer threads. I assume.

That said, I definitely don't dislike being a player.

You have quite a lot of characters, with the majority of them being hunters or hunters in training. Have you given any thought for what other career paths they could have followed? (Don't have to answer for all of them if you don't feel like naturally)

A lot of my characters didn't necessary chose their career but had it chosen for them. Malina, Aca, and Zabar all had their careers chosen by the family. Malina was quiet explicitly forced into becoming a huntress by her parents before she caved and went with it. Aca was forced to spend most of her time with her dad, not that that's a bad thing, because her mom spent all her free time with Malina. This made her pretty much exclusively exposed to hunting. Aca was pretty set in stone because of her exposure and exclusive exposure from a young age, but even if she wasn't a huntress, Malina would have probably gone into aura tech research.

Zabar was born the youngest of 5 and the four before him were either scavengers or hunters. His only real options were Scavenger, Hunter, or Politician like his parents and grandfather and it sure wasn't going to be the latter. In another time, maybe, when the world wasn't as advanced he may have wanted to be a cartographer, but in this time his two options were scavenger or hunter.

Titania and Brook are the most likely to have other options if they could go back. Titania would have probably become a botanist or something similar while Brook would have followed in Phaedo's footsteps and tried to get into the political world to help faunus.

Phaedo and Kol, on the other hand, were never going to be anything other than what they are. Just like Malina, they had their ending point chosen for them a long time ago.

But none of that really matters because it's where they all are now and that's how it's supposed to be.

When you're making characters do you actively make ones that draw on some /are opposite to your own personality traits, or do you try to consider the character more separately?

I used to, Malina 1.0 was basically fuel by chat room rage. I don't anymore because I felt, at least for me, that it boxed those characters into those roles pretty tightly and I could only really write them well when I was fresh with the emotions they were supposed to represent. Considering Malina's was anger, that was exactly healthyyyyy.... I don't really consider myself in any character creation now, I try to view them as a their own person.

Not if you're new.

Because you have a lot more potential.

You actually hate the effort required to put into the site and the act of participating has become a chore but you would feel too bad for just leaving permanently and you actually like a couple people here.
Or maybe I'm projecting.

No.
