Seeing the bandit began his flaming charge, Lynae jumped up as high as she could, over the large man; as she was preparing for this moment. "You were stupid enough to dive right into my bubbles..Yeesh, that's gotta sting." Lynae remarked as the remaining bubbles began to pop. She smirked and began to walk away, the bandit now lying on the ground. Smells like bacon..

As she walked away, Lynae took the time to pose dramatically; with her left arm bent up across her chest, point toward the roof and her right arm at her waist, as if she were going to draw an imaginary gun from its holster.

"Arrivederci."

Lynae now turned her attention to Patchouli. Lynae summons a single bubble and throws it at her attacker in a hope to distract him from the girl.

Patchouli took advantage of her attacker's complete lack of defense in this aggressive charge, suddenly breaking from her defense to knee him in the stomach. She then took a short step forward and put her whole body into driving the claw of needles into the man's chest, before leaving them there to step back and draw some more. This was the plan, at least, but the unseen bubble from Lynae almost blindsided her, and she ended up falling rather than stepping backwards in her panic.

Vidalia gives the man a second. She can kill him right, but she wanted to kill him fairly yet she could settle for knocking him out with the end of her sword. She walks up to him with a bit of bounce in each step. Her green eyes meet his and with the smallest smile comes to the end of her sword smacking the Mistralian in the face.

"And I am NOT sorry for that!"Vidalia turns to walk away.

She directs her attention to her team. Looks like Sona could use a hand. Vidalia sends three phantom swords her way. One she makes sure to disarm the man and the othe two at his mid section.

Sona decides to mix up her constant advancing. She throws her right chakram from her usual grip at the bandit across from her. The chakram's first round goes off, a fire dust round that has the edge of the spinning disk glowing with heat. The ring flies low, towards the man's right leg before it will boomerang back to the huntress in training, even as she takes rotates around the man so that her back is to her teammates across the room. She steps around with her left chakram raised to deflect any attacks her opponent may try to sneak in as she moves.


The Mistrali man collapses like a sack of potatoes after being hit while downed by Vidalia. To his credit he had tried to dodge, but in pain as he was he couldn't move fast enough.


The giant bandit growls in pain, rolling back and forth on the floor to put out his flaming clothing. He coincidentally dodges a good amount of the bubbles the caster had blanketed at him because of it.


The bandit with the rattail gets a lucky lead in swipe at the faunus in front of him, slashing at her shoulder. His confidence soars, even if the attack was wholly blocked by the girls aura.

It crashes back down as on the next step forward, running straight into the girl's raised knee with his stomach. With a cough he stops short and her fist, augmented with the claw of needles, slams into his chest. While no sword wound his vision swam and through the adrenaline he could feel the pain.

His luck continues to fail him as a bubble from the blue haired girl comes at his side. It hits him dead on, the soap bubble slamming into him like it was made of stone. He wobbles slightly and loses his footing, noticing the girl has fallen on her rump. He drops on top of the girl, sitting over her on his knees. Adrenaline fueling him, he goes to punch the girl with a left hook.


The scimitar wielder sees glowing blades fly for him out of the corner of his eye. He lazily deflects the two aimed for his chest with his left scimitar. The final does it's job however, his movement to deflect the first two swords placed his hand in just the right position for her final blade to knock his from his hand. It clatters to the floor by the jeep, some 10 feet away.

"You will regret that one, girl." he says with a snarl. Vidalia's attack has yet to finish it's purpose however. The blades distract him from Sona's chakram and her weapon cuts at his leg, causing him to hiss in pain from the blade and the heat. His head whips around to the faunus girl, who had stepped around to be almost between him and the phantom blade girl.

"Devito!" He shouts. He runs straight for Sona, slashing twice across her upper body. The first slash leads her blocking chakram, forcing it away as his second reverses and cuts across the girl's chest. Aura protects her and he snarls again. He tries a more powerful overhead swing with the opening he's created.


The long forgotten fifth bandit's head rises from the jeep's sunroof. His stocky frame wiggles it's way up, so his arms were above the jeep as well. He lifts up a large machine gun in the space that's left, mounting it on the roof the jeep and locking a feed of ammunition into the gun's chamber.

"Sorry for the wait!" He yells, priming the weapon with a click that can be heard throughout the room.


Sona yelps as the boss's scimitars cuts at her. She missed her chance to grab her chakram during the attack, it clattering to the floor off to her right. The faunus grabs her remaining chakram with both hands and holds it up to block the overhand swing coming for her head.

She falls with blow, her chakram not meant to directly block attacks from a larger weapon. She drops the weapon and falls to the left, hitting the sandstone floor with her shoulder. She quickly rolls further to the left, coming to her feet in a crouch. She grabs her second and final pair of chakram from her back while glaring daggers at her attacker.

"ORDER: SPLV"

Patchouli noted that the more insane and adrenaline-fueled her opponent became, the less intimidating he was as a result. At this point she saw him as nothing more than a sad wreck and wanted desperately to put him out of his misery. As the man went in for a punch, she placed her right arm on his advancing elbow and her left on his chest, nearing his right shoulder. While the hand on his elbow was positioned to control his momentum, her other arm was simply used to push. The result of this would hopefully be a hilarious and disorienting flop.

As the bumbling idiot staggered his way into attacking, Patchouli couldn't help but notice that he was dripping blood on her. That was most impolite.

"Oh no." Lynae sighs as she sees the man's machine gun on the jeep, and immediately begins to think of a plan. Knowing that she has to waste even more dust, Lynae gets a bit angry, but stays determined, nonetheless. Spinning one full rotation to gain momentum for her Semblance, Lynae lets out three bubbles sped up with the use of kinetic dust straight for the bandit. "ARIARIARI!" She shouts as the bubbles fly toward the man. If they were to hit him, they would surely knock him around and do some good damage.

Vidalia feels stupid forgetting about the fifth man with the gun. She needed to stop him or else her team would be slaughtered. Vidalia slipped by Sona's opponent, then tried her best to stay out of sight to sneak up on the man- typically that never worked since she was so damn loud even when she tries not to be. Just her luck, her sword smacks up against the side of the jeep making a loud clearly audible scraping sound. That's why she never tries to be inconspicuous, in the end, she always fails.

A half-assed plan B is what she falls back on. Using her sheathed sword she begins to poke and prod at the man atop the jeep. Now it really bites to be short.

"Hey! Hey! Mister! HEY!" She says as annoying as possible. "Hey, you dumb monkey! Look at me!"

Patchouli flips her opponent over, his back hitting the sandstone floor with a sound that can only be described as anticlimactic. There is a small squick to the drop as well and fleck of blood comes from beneath the man to hit Patchouli's cheek.

He hisses through clenched teeth, unable to completely stop himself from shouting in pain. His body quivers and his fists are clenched tightly. He doesn't make to move from his position.


The leader's heavy boots crunch on the sandy floor as he stomps up to Sona. He swings his left leg into a roundhouse kick she'll be unable to duck while crouched. Once she's knocked prone, he plants a boot on her chest, winding the huntress and keeping her still.

"You've really pissed me off. The lot of you. Hope Shade wasn't expecting you to come back tonight." He says icily. He glares at the girl, reading his blade.


Devito fires right into Lynae's attacks, popping the bubbles with automatic fire. The angle is well out of the way of the caster herself but her bubbles are popped with extreme prejudice. As he sights the blue haired girl up he is poked from behind. Swiveling the weapon he can see Vidalia's sword sticking up over the side of the jeep and her pestering comments are are just that. He's forced to stand higher in the opening, revealing as deep as his waist as he leans over the site to point the weapon at the girl.

"Say good night little girl." he says and pulls the trigger on a short range burst. Half a dozen rounds fire in the girls direction.


Lynae could see her bubbles popped by bullets before the man with the gun turned around for some reason. He turns his back to the girl, an obvious opportunity.

Before the leader of VLPS can take advantage of his foolishness, a force pulls her back leg sharply, causing her to fall prone. A glance behind her reveals a terrible sight; the muscular man she had defeated was bruised everywhere from bubbles and his shirt had burned clean off. His chest is burned as well, making the man look like an incoming burn victim at a Vacuan hospital.

Still grasping the girl's ankle, he comes to his knees. He twists his torso and throws the girl by her ankle. Lynae thankfully hits the floor first, so instead of flying she only rolls into the wall behind the bandit with a sizable crash.

A quick glance shows the bandit didn't rise to follow her. He doesn't move at all as she crashes, simply sitting there on his knees.

"ORDER: VLPS"

When the man didn't pay attention to her she got angry. She did not like being neglected, to make up for that she aimed one of her summon swords at the man atop the jeep. She could care less that a gun was put in front of her face, she could care less that she could quite possible die, but right now this man was going to regret ignoring her. Her green sword stayed still until she ordered the blade to embed itself in the man's back. Three more followed then another three more. Her thumb pushed the tsuba up to expose some of her blade, then lets it slide back down hitting the sheath. After the sheath and guard met Vidalia's swords exploded. Vidalia suffered some damage from the explosion. She fell back feeling a bit of a burning sensation mingle across her skin.

As Lynae got up from the ground, dusting herself off and not suffering much damage, she looked toward the man with a sense of anger beginning to form. Taking a deep breath, Lynae began to calm herself down; now walking toward the bandit.

 "ARIARIARI" Lynae shouts, firing a small wave of bubbles at close range, just out of the bandit's reach. This was probably gonna sting.

Patchouli rolled away from her opponent, worried he might make another ill-advised attack on her, before rising back to her feet. She winced a bit upon seeing Lynae get thrown, but following the single assault Lynae didn't seem to be in any immediate danger. Patchouli turned her attention to Sona, who was pinned down a few meters away. She reached into her pouch of needles, but to her dismay only pulled out two; the rest, she found, were scattered about on the floor where she had fallen down previously. Cursing her clumsiness, Patchouli threw these two needles at Sona's opponent before stooping to gather up what lost needles she could.

Sona glares daggers back at the man with his boot on her chest. Her chest can barely take in air under the pressure he exerts. He puts more of his weight into it and she can see her aura shatter again, it's protective force dissipating. The pain that was being masked by the golden light assails her. She coughs violently and her grip slips on her weapons.

To her credit, not a single moment of her reaction to the pain showed in her eyes. The fire behind them burns brightly, her resolve unwavering.


Devito grimaces as his rounds hit the girl in the shoulder. Aura, Huntress in Training, no matter what she may be, he takes no pleasure from attacking a young girl.

His frown deepens when she tanks the hits with a terrifyingly cold expression. The next thing he knows is a flare of pain in his back. Looking down almost robotically, a green blade had thrust itself through him. Three more thrust through his back and into his field of view. He doesn't scream. Not even when another trio puncture his body. He looks at the girl again, a very small voice in the back of head lamenting ever trying to fight a Huntress.

The swords explode at Vidalia's command and the jeep gets a gruesome paint job. The shards of hardened aura fly far enough to pelt Vidalia as well. Her aura flickers and dies in the blast, lasting her just long enough to keep her from taking any real damage from that attack. The machine gun being used by Devito falls with a clatter at her feet.


Lynae's bubbles pelt the massive bandit. He makes no attempts to move, or even block. It's almost as if he fell unconscious with that last exertion of strength.

If he wasn't before, he certainly is now. He slumps backward, his knees still tucked in a kneel. It's not a comfortable position to be in. His massive back hits the floor with a much more climactic sound. Loose sand floats into the air, leaving the bandit in a literal dust cloud.


The leader swings his blade at the pinned girl's neck; a wide, sweeping slash to end the girl. Lady luck shows her favor to the cat faunus as her teammate's needles hit the bandit's shoulder at the height of his swing. While they're reflected by his aura, his swing is thrown off. It only cuts Sona's shoulder lightly instead of it's original target. He growls and turns to look for the source of the distraction, his eyes falling on the girl picking up needles across the room.

The pressure on Sona's chest and the wound on her shoulder are enough to trigger her second Nine Lives.


Sona's aura flares up again as the scimitar cuts her shoulder. The accompanying wave of force lifts her opponent off her, launching him back and giving her a chance to return to her feet. She stand and grabs her weapons. She's breathing heavily, her lungs working overtime to help over the winding she received while pinned. Hoping she'll have enough time to catch her breath before he reengages, her eyes stay locked on her disorientated opponent but she makes no move against him.

Patchouli grasped a handful of needles, ready for action... and almost fumbled them again upon hearing the explosion. Her quills flared up as she instinctively ducked close to the ground. A moment later, when she relaxed enough to look up at what had happened, fear for herself turned to fear for Vidalia. Gaining a quick grasp of the situation, Patchouli determined that the others could fend for themselves at this point. Her eyes fixed on the jeep, she shoved the needles into her pouch and made a mad dash over to where Vidalia had been fighting.

As Lynae turned away from her opponent, she looked over to the jeep to find what Vidi had done to the man, only for Lynae to look away as the swords explode. As Lynae prepared to run over to Vidalia she saw that Patchouli already had the same idea and decided not to run over, herself. Instead, she kept a close eye on Sona and her fight with the leader. Lynae made sure she didn't rush in to try to help Sona: she seemed offended when the formation was changed, so Lyn didn't want to see how she would react if Lynae joined in.

While pushed back by Sona's strange aura resurgence, the leader isn't stumbled. He steps back with the effect, keeping on his feet and his weapon in hand. His brow furrows at the second instance of a depleted aura returning to the girl.

He bolts towards the cat faunus, whose still catching her breath and unable to get out of the way. Rather than the sword swing she anticipates, he instead lowers his shoulder and knocks into the girl. She is pushed to the ground and he continues past her. Grabbing his second blade, he cuts to his left and disappears out the exit of the ruin. The girls can see that he turned to the left when he gets outside, but cannot see where he went beyond that.
