What type of faunus is she?

Iíd like you to have another look at your formatting because it is kinda all over the place. Itís fine now but it would also be nice if you could provide a little more detail on the personality and history. What are her experiences at school? What effects did they have on her? ect

You donít have a combat behaviour section and we have already talked about changing the weapon. Formatting could also use some work.

We expect around two to three weaknesses in the combat behaviour but most every this is fine.

So there are a few points I would like some elaboration on; how she kills the heir and her breakdown around her sterilization.

You need actually weaknesses, even for huntsman level characters.

Iím mostly OK with the semblance although having it be able to choke out anyone isnít going to be allowed. Perhaps being able to channel your own aura will dissipate the jelly. Also how much, in rough numbers, of her aura does she need to use to create an effective defense or choking hazard.

Well I'll throw Ramalia in then because it doesn't look like you are getting teams. Although she is a first year a lot of her abilities lend themselves to a defensive and reconnaissance role.

Well this school exists and Ramalia would like some friends.

An absolute unit Ramalia offers immense long range fire power as well as a life time of hard won survivalist skills to safeguard her team through the treacherous sands of Vacuo.

(Not expecting this to fill up blisteringly fast but felt I should at least try to get the poor girl into a team.)

This is really really good I only have three nitpicks

  • In the history section you say Ďoutside the borders of veil,í Iím pretty sure you mean Vale.
  • The first emergence of her semblance beating a super powerful threat thing is something we come down pretty hard on so I have to ask you to cut out the pushing the Nevermore back into forest at 12 years. Perhaps she could try to push it back but end up flinging herself back into the forest?
  • I disagree with a lot of your weaknesses being meaningful but you have enough so it doesnít really matter. Being bad while disarmed or relying on your superpower aren't very impactful but being real smoll and bad at reacting is enough.

We are currently chatting in DMs about this guy but if anyone has anything they would like to add feel free.

Take two at this.

As the chaos around them escalated it became increasingly apparent to Avery that the information being projecting on to the screens around wasn't quite matching up, sonar was showing large and rapidly moving forms not far beneath the waves but the rest of the measurements weren't picking them up. Likewise the surface radar seemed to strangely lag behind real world events. Still moving the the glass to witness what the storm had to offer Avery was treated to a truly spectacular display of colours which almost blinded the scion to new danger before it was too late. Another shard of dust crystal slammed straight into the glass surrounding the bridge and weather through superior design or providence the material held as the crystal deflected off the glass surface. That isn't to say it didn't leave damage, a massive crack had formed at the point of contact and several smaller crystals had been scattered across the glass. Droids have already spilled out from their crevices and started trying to repair/clean the glass but it's slow going and at least for now makes the bridge a poor viewing point.

Dorian's voice croaked through the communication systems, both from variable static and Dorian's own short breath. 'The engine is holding together but she is struggling, I'm not sure if we should move the ship around much to try to keep the engine as stable as possible. The stabilizers also seem to be playing up, I can try to keep us upright manually but it means we will have to keep someone down here unless people want to try swimming to our objective.í Dorian called out, his judging quip not quite managing to cover up the growing fear in his voice.

The stabilisers which Dorian is referring to play a vital role in keeping the ship upright, being a highly automated ship the teamís vessel demands a huge amount of computing power to govern itself. This is only magnified in a storm and as it becomes increasingly apparent something was causing the shipís more advanced systems to go haywire.

Managing to quickly get herself back inside Topaz was treated to a series of bright lights flashing in the distance, too far away to see what exactly was causing them but they lit up an enormous black shape sitting on the ocean's surface. Dashing through the labyrinthine corridors of the ship Topaz also add to navigate past the scuttering droids, going about their business as best they could given the situations and trying to fix any minor damage. Upon calling up Dorian there was a significant pause before the Rothburg scion responded. íIn theory the ships droids should take care of major breaches they just need time. That might not be a luxury we can afford, even if you canít wield the hull close yourself simply halting the influx of water would be greatly appreciated.í Dorian responded, breath still coming quickly as numerous sounds of beeping and switches being flipped could be heard. After a rather loud beep Dorian swore into the still open mic before the line dropping dead.
Rather sheepishly Dorian came back in a few moments later íI would advise Aurum and yourself to meet up, there seems to be something playing up with the systems and we canít afford for everyone to be separated.í Dorian continued with genuine concern in his voice. íThe internal scanners also seem to be playing up unless one of you are trying to sneak up on me.í With that last bit of forced humour Dorian went silent again.

Despite the large distance she had to cover Topaz still made it to the first breach first, the water wasnít filling as much as it could have been as the rock was sealing the hole. Unfortunately the pillar had pieced deep into the side of the wall exposing a series of electronics, luckily rock isnít the most conductive material and there was already the ever present droids trying to close the gap.

Aurum arrives a few minutes after Topaz and after his glib remarks got to work reducing the flow of water. Effectively cutting the flow to near nothing to truly nothing as ice sprouted from the daggers. Covering both the connecting rock and hull in a reasonably thick layer. Unfortunately the drag of the pillar twisted the intrusion and it was already ripping free of itís frozen cage to embed itself deeper into the ship. The rock however seemed it might not be a problem for much longer with Aurums daggers causing small chucks to splinter off and cracks appear in the main rock.

Recognising that the pilots of the ship were taking care of the big intrusion several droids formed themselves in an orderly line beside of Aurum and Topaz waiting for any instructions the hunters-in-training had for them. Dorian and Avery busy with their own tasks silence fell over the ship, even the storm seemed to be letting up as the thunderous belting on the ship hull morphed into a more moderate clanging.

Spoiler: show
(Reading back over Iím not sure if itís clear but everyone can hear what Dorian says over the intercom but not what the others responses are unless they are nearby.)

Being the one who encouraged Gus I suppose I should be the first to say something. (Upon revision, I'm aware I have come across very harsh but honestly there was a lot to get through, along with JJ my door is always open.)

So you have very clearly not read the rules of the board nor used the format, link here

I'll get the big things our of the way first. 1). Canon characters don't exist so your character can't be friends/enemies with them. 2). Aura draining or unwilling manipulation is banned, your semblance is also supposed to link in to the character's personality somewhat so try to think about that. 3). 'ERROR data corrupted' isn't acceptable for histories/backstories. If you want other players to not be able to read your backstory then put a false one in and send the real one to the mods so we can approve it. 4). The mech suit is a bit much for your first character also the design would pretty much get him kicked straight out of the school imo.

Moving forward I would strongly recommend reading through the approved character section to get a better idea of what we expect of you then we can continue from there.

Real pleasure to read, we have had similar ideas before but this is as far as someone has gone with it. Consider it's an experience freelancer I'm OK with that, although I'm curious if Anya/Maria cancels one of her clones before it is destroyed does she regain the aura spent to construct it?

Now as you were probably expecting the big question is around the dust tattoos. The kind of abilities which Anya/Maria can accomplish are fine but the issue I see is their implementation. I can understand why you are hesitant to go the Hazel route with directly infusing crystals into Anya/Maria's skin given her Haemophilia but surely it would still apply to tattoos if less extremely. The second issue is how relatively easy they are to come across, I personally don't see an issue with them in their current form but I would like the process behind to be more serious that some underground tattoo artist with an online chemist degree or whatever they have.

That being said I'm willing to approve it in it's current form. You've shown yourself to a trust worthy sort and if you betray that trust we can always just break your kneecaps.  ;D

Calen grunted twice from both quite sharp stabs of pain, first crashing through the door and secondly as he was hit by the stray arrow. Never one to enter a fight slowly Calen only glanced down at the injury to ensure no dust or other device had been left behind as he shot towards this new foe, glad to finally have something he could get to grips with. Relying on his natural speed rather than the semblance Calen was growing more and more aware that he wasn't exactly fresh and the incident with the door had done nothing to improve that. If he was going to remain in the fight for it's entirety he needed to get momentum on their side as quickly as possible. 'The power of friendship and pointy sticks. Can't forget the pointy sticks otherwise they will feel left out.' Calen remarked as he ran in, desperate to close the distance before he could be hit by any other stray projectiles.

Wielding his weapon in it's sword form opened with an overhead right side slash which turned out to be a feint. Spinning like lightning instead brought his weapon to bare at Rainfall's legs, aiming to trip or at least slow the girl down. With four hunters-in-training in the room their opponent still looked confident and even though only one of those hunters-in-training was Calen it still spoke much of the faunus's ability. Not just a faunus. Calen thought to himself as he caught a glimpse of her mask. A member of the White Fang. Old fear and hate started to boil to the surface but the gaunt boy kept it under control, at least for now.

Expecting a violent outburst Calen had readied himself to use his semblance to carry himself to safety. Unfortunately the speedster underestimated the sheer ferocity Gaud was capably of and found himself caught in the tribe woman's grip before he could even think to react. Being slammed against wall did a lot to drop Calen's improved mood considering at least Rory's reaction as well as giving him a minor concussion. Not that a concussion was needed for Calen's mouth to run faster than it was appropriate. 'I appreciate the invitation Miss Gaud but I've never bee..' Calen began, interrupted by Gaud's snarling accusations. Trying his hardest to put on a bored expression, made significantly more difficult by the shock and fear that Calen was feeling as the situation escalated, as the mad woman finished her condemnation of his bodyguard skills.

Finally given an opportunity to explain himself Calen began. 'I was part of the collection of hunters-in-training who were signed to help protect Cami Unis as she made her way around these towns.' Calen began, reasonably proud how level he managed to keep his voice even as his mind kept regurgitating all the ways this could go wrong. His left hand helped stabilise himself on Gaud's own arm while his right dropped down to where he hid his throwing knives. 'My name is Calen, Calen Shrike and don't worry about what happened on the road. It's dealt with, there is no need for you to drag the dissolved corpses of Grimm into this alley as well.' Calen lied, not really able to keep his voice level but he hoped it was interpreted more from the stress of the situation than his bold faced lie.

Calen made a sound like a cross between a gag and a squeak at Justices declaration of protection. Looking like the gaunt boy was going to add something more about how he could take care of himself the reality of the situation kept Calen's mouth closed on that front. Instead Calen followed Justice's lead and tried to defuse the situation in his own way.
'It looks like the party is all ready to move out and I believe Rory has decided to stay behind this time.' Calen remarked turning at least his head towards Justice. 'Is there anything you want to do in town before we leave?' Despite putting on a brave face it's clear the Calen is quite fearful in this situation.
