Talen laughed nervously and said something along the lines of needing to find a bathroom. The man seemed oddly adamant eith his statement so she was wondering whether or not he was either mad about being pitied or something much much worse. She only hoped they heard it on radio, she didnt want to talk out loud for the meantime

Kale was about to tell Argus her plan but then she heard the conversation from Talen's comms and started to worry a little, and she voiced her concern  "Kinda makes you wonder what their hiding doesn't it?"

[Veritas]

"Yeah. It does," replied the huntsman. "You all should try and find that out." He gave a wry smile. "I don't think they'd respond well to me asking nicely unless my gun asks nicely too, and I think we'll save that for later if they're being uncooperative."

Mark raised an eyebrow but didn't otherwise question Talen. He pointed to a house nearby and said, "Bathroom should be the first door on the right if you need it."

Kale smirked and said "Yes lets keep things as peaceful as we can for now, although if things get to the point of no return then you can let your gun do as much talking as needed.", she walked out of the barn and headed over to Talen's location to possibly get her out of a vary sticky situation. Upon arriving to the fence she looked around hoping to spot a decent place for an ambush in the distance but figured she would need to venture out a bit to find a good one.

As Kale went off to rescue Talen, Argus sent out five shadows to scout the town for the best possible location to lay a trap.

"Oh, hey Kale. Can you come here for a sec? Talen asked, motioning to a secluded corner. Turning her head left and right to see if anyone was around she tuned in her radio. "It's not conclusive but...maybe the rogue android is the least of our problems.

Kale cannot see any place in the village that would be suitable for an ambush. Argus' shadows find a few ridges around the town that could be used for an ambush, but nothing within the actual collection of buildings would be useful for an ambush without free reign to hide in and move through the buildings.

Mark looked to the sun once more and then to Talen and Kale. He swung his head back to the workers and said, "Alright, wrap it up. Bandits like the night, but they like sleepy villagers even better. Get on home, the lot of you! I want to see you all back here early tomorrow."

Argus said over comms, "I got nothing in the actual town, but there are some ridges around the outskirts we could use. We'll need a way to lure the thing to them, though."

Talen idled with thoughts on the odd robot but kept to herself for the meantime. Cordelia seemed rather preoccupied apparently and the others were brainstorming a trap. Though despite their efforts she couldn't help but feel worried about the villagers themselves. Maybe they were just paranoid, maybe she was just paranoid, heck maybe the robot was just paranoid! Cant robots even get paranoid, well it was about time they found out.

As the group convened, a clearly apprehensive Suthers stopped on his way home and listened to the group. After a few seconds, however, he walked right up to them and announced in a somewhat quiet voice, "Them's planning words. I didn' hear much, but I wan' in jes the same."
